Everyone Is Welcome

Welcome to MPStudio, a Gym and Pilates studio founded by me, Molly. I have always had a love for sport and fitness so it was no doubt that I wanted to help others improve their health and enjoy the process. After realising our local area was missing a space that combined both effective training and a welcoming atmosphere, I decided to open this studio to create exactly that.

We offer a wide range of classes designed for all fitness levels, so whether you’re just starting or looking to challenge yourself, there’s something here for everyone. More than just a gym, we’ve built a supportive community where people come together, not just to work out, but to connect, grow, and feel at home. Everyone is welcome, and we can’t wait for you to be part of it!

Reformer Pilates is a full body workout done a machine with a moving platform and adjustable resistance. It helps to build strength, improve flexibility and strengthen your core all while being gentle on your joints.

Reformer Pilates

Matt Pilates is a full body, low impact, workout focused on improving core strength, flexibility, posture and building strength and stability to promote a balanced toned body.

Mat Pilates

Inspired by Hyrox, MP-ROX is designed to build your strength, speed, power and endurance. Perfect for those training for a Hyrox event or just to improve your overall fitness and have some fun!

MP-ROX

Power fit is a full body workout targeting strength, core and cardio. This high energy session combines functional movements, cardio intervals and resistance training to help you improve your overall fitness.

Power Fit

MPStrength & Conditioning (MPS & C) is a class designed to help you lift heavy, move powerfully and build your endurance. Each month we will have 4 unique workouts which will stay the same for 3 months in a row. This gives you the chance to focus on form, track progress and progressively overload. All levels are welcome, wether you have experience or not in the gym!

MPS & C

MPStride is designed specifically for runners who want to move stronger, stride longer, and stay injury-free. This lower body and core-focused strength class targets the muscles that matter most—glutes, hamstrings, hips, and deep core—boosting performance and reducing risk of injury.

MPStride

This Boxercise class is designed for all fitness levels, this non-contact workout blends traditional boxing techniques with full-body cardio to deliver a knockout session. Expect a fun mix of shadowboxing, pad work, footwork drills, and core-strengthening exercises — all set to motivating music and led by an instructor.

Boxercise

A fast-paced, high intensity interval workout that blends body weight and weighted exercises to build muscle and boost endurance, all in just 30 minutes. Expect sweat, energy and full body results.

MPSweat

MPS Run Club is for all abilities, so whether you’re a regular runner or you’ve never run before this run club is for you. We will be going at a steady pace and building up the miles as the weeks progress. This is a free community run club, we just ask that you book on so we get an idea of numbers please.

Run Club

Sculpt your core and fire up your heart rate in this energising 30 minute session. A powerful mix of core focused exercises and cardio bursts to strengthen, tone and boost endurance. Quick, sweaty and effective.

MP-Core

This full body workout uses kettlebells to build strength, power and endurance. You’ll swing, press and move through dynamic, functional exercises designed to challenge every muscle and elevate your fitness.

Kettlebells

Book and hours session in the gym to use for own workouts. To ensure the space isn't overcrowded, a maximum of four people can book at a time.

The Studio

Where to find us

You can find MPStudio at 93 High Street, Wigton, CA7 9PG. 

If you’re travelling on the A595, turn at the Red Dial crossroads and head into Wigton. After passing the Wigton Medical Group Centre, continue for approximately 300 yards—we’re on the right-hand side, directly opposite George Street. Keep an eye out for our studio signs!
